About Me

Ceramic Art + Painting + Art Dolls

I fell head over heels in love with ceramics when I took my first ceramics class in 2016. I’ve been playing with mud ever since! I mostly make functional ceramics like coffee mugs, planters, and plates, but I also like to make sculptures! My love affair with dolls as an art form began in 2013. I made doll head lamps and doll head candles that bled red wax out of their eyes! I’ve always been drawn to creepy/cute things! I still make doll head lamps from time to time, but my all time favorite thing to make are Siamese Twin art dolls! I was born in 1984, so I guess I’ve been drawing since 1986? I started painting when I was 12 years old. My favorite mediums are acrylic, gouache, watercolor, and ink.

I have spent at least 10 years taking Art classes at North Lake College in Irving, and Tarrant County College in Fort Worth. I have yet to earn a degree in anything, but I have learned so much from the amazing professors and students I have met along the way. I am eternally grateful to Marty Ray, Brett Dyer, Monica Winters, Trevor Bennett, Merry Fuhrer, Tommy Fitzpatrick, and Deirdre Pope. I am also so lucky to have been taught by my very first Art teacher Donzi Clark (my Dad)!

I live in North Richland Hills, Texas with the love of my life Daniel and our spoiled rotten cat Fenwick!!  My Art studio is in my house. For years my pottery wheel was in my dining room, but in our new house I keep everything in my new studio room!!  My kiln (Maggie) lives at my parent’s house in Weatherford, TX.

A few of my favorite things: He-Man, Skeletor, Rainbow Brite, rotary phones, skeletons, Barbie, Godzilla, dinosaurs, bats, the human heart, pink flamingos, anatomy models, taxidermy frogs, Alice in Wonderland, Captain Planet, lucky cats, moths, Twin Peaks, doll heads, mermaids, death, astrology, horror, lobsters, monsters, black cats, the Venus of Willendorf, Kurt Vonnegut, Charles Bukowski, Medieval Art, goddesses, deer, Halloween, coffee, Krampus, and BOOBS!!
